Anchored Time is a project based on the novel “Peter Schlemihl’s Wonderful Story”. It reconstructs the original text of the novel, excerpts from interviews, and visual elements that suggest aspects of identity, reflecting the concept of foreignness. Personal reflections on growing up in a multicultural family are interwoven with considerations of societal belonging. Each page transitions from dark gray to light gray and back to dark gray, presenting a spectrum of intermediate tones and symbolizing identities that exist within in-between spaces.
